Bear Art

This bear is a lino block print that I carved for an annual gallery auction.  It is titled ‘Mato’. Then I decided to experiment with mixed media variations on the many hand-pulled relif prints I had leftover. They’ve now been printed into cards. A Bison is next, then a Coyote. The WILD BLOCK PRINTS series will also include Raven,   Pronghorn, Moose, a heart-faced Owl and lot’s and lot’s of Mustangs. Also, I’m writing letters today!  I couldn’t possibly write to Marie without including a BEAR CARD! Afterall, her name IS Bernard.  I can’t wait to write to you guys, my steadfast and truest interwebular friends, HA! about what I’ve been doing (besides working full time) where I’ve been, who I’ve seen, and how much joy I find in this wild place I live. PS: Sherpa says hello!

    2. It was fun! It’s not always but it helps when I love something so much, like wild animals. Then it’s easier to work on a project and find joy in it, too.
